I was reading an article that tried to answer the question of 'What Do Men Think About When They Make Love?' The gist of the article is that that men think (worry) about how soon their partner is going to come so that they can let themselves go. And I can't buy this—can I? In my case you can believe it. In the throes of physicality I do think about sports simply because I have never cared for sports so I can function physically but stave off the inevitable by trying to figure out the rules or other nonsense about the games. I do that so it will last longer and therefore she will enjoy it more. To me the important thing is for her to be satisfied first then let myself go second. It does not always work that way. Also to put off the fireworks I will sometimes think about doing the dishes or mopping the floor or any of the other long list of regular jobs I do. I do want to stress that I am paying attention to what she is doing and how she is responding and will speed up or slow down when needed but in the back of my mind (packed close to the unused French) I will let that part wander on sports or whatever so the focus is not on the big ending.
