Freaky Fountain Press has four new calls for submissions:

Sex + Violence (Anthology)

Sex and violence have always been intertwined and deeply rooted in the psyche of humankind. We’re looking for stories between 2000 – 10,000 words exploring the intersection of sex and violence.

Sex + Violence Guidelines

* While extreme BDSM scenarios are welcome, they must be extreme. Much of BDSM has become commonplace in erotica, and Freaky Fountain is about publishing the niche, the unusual, the transgressive.

* We invite you to explore unusual fetishes in your stories. Some examples that would work well for this anthology would be hybristophilia, asphyxiophilia, lust murder/snuff, autassassinaphilia, and violent rape fantasy.

Wikipedia describes a ten-tier classification of necrophiles: role-players, romantics, fantasizers, fetishistic, opportunistic, tactile, homicidial, necromutilomaniacs, regular necrophiles, and exclusive necrophiles.

We are seeking stories between 2000 -10,000 words exploring all of the above themes with sensuality, nuance, and a literary attention to craft. We especially welcome interpretations of necrophilia that fall outside the familiar necrophiliac narratives: sex with bones, ashes, relics of the dead (hair, skin, nails), entrails, mummified remains, and maggot-infested flesh.

Necrophilia Guidelines

* We welcome horror and splatterporn mixed in with our erotica, as long as it isn’t designed merely to shock. Grotesquerie must not be gratuitous.

* All stories must feature at least one living partner and one dead partner. Graphic depictions of necrophilia in dreams and fantasies are welcome.

* We do not want ghosts, vampires, or reanimated corpses (this includes zombies).

From the beginning of time, humankind has occasionally ventured beyond the boundaries of our own species, seeking release or even love with the other animals on our planet. From the exotic lusts of those who swim in the sea to the backyard affections of your very own family pet, share your 2,000-10,000 word stories of carnal desire for the bestial.

Bestial Guidelines

* All species are welcome. Dogs to dolphins, snakes to sheep, gorillas to goats: all non-human creatures – including bugs and birds – are welcome in this anthology.

* We seek realism in fiction. We expect that your descriptions of sex with animals will be reasonably realistic. For example, if your character is having sexual contact with a horse, we expect you to remember that human orifices are not meant to comfortably or safely accommodate stallions.

* Stories featuring animal abuse and/or animal suffering will not be accepted. The animal must be a willing participant in the act, and must not suffer as a result of sexual contact. However, the reverse – erotic depiction of humans being raped by animals – is acceptable.

* No hybrid pregnancies. If the species in question can’t get a human pregnant in real life, attempting to write a hybrid conception and/or pregnancy into your story will be automatic rejection.

* Insects qualify as animals, as do arachnids. If your version of the beastial involves being stung or bitten by, being covered in, or otherwise interacting with six- or eight-legged critters, that falls within the guidelines of this anthology.

All stories must feature one or more non-human creatures having sexual contact with one or more humans.

Inspired by the Internet vigilante group Anonymous, we’re seeking stories about anonymous sex. From the bathhouse to the public parks, the dingy club toilet to the costumed Halloween party, we want 2,000-10,000 word stories that explore hot, freaky sex with strangers.

ANONYMOUS Guidelines

* Please remember that this is Freaky Fountain. We’re not seeking the kind of stories you could find at any other erotica publisher. To be considered for inclusion, it has to be psychologically dark and/or involve a niche fetish that isn’t common elsewhere.

* Violent rape is often an anonymous act, and non-consent falls within Freaky Fountain guidelines.

* When costumed or hidden by darkness, people often allow their more carnal natures to come forward. We want to see stories exploring the license offered by anonymity.

* Sex with Anonymous – which is to say, one or more of the masked Anonymous protesters themselves – is perfectly welcome. Fighting Scientology has never been so much fun!

5% of the net profit from the sale of ANONYMOUS will be donated to the organization Anonymous via BitCoin.
